The Coleman Auto-On LED Cooler Light lets you easily see the contents of your cooler, even in the darkest conditions. If you set it to “auto-on,” the light comes on automatically when you open the cooler, and turns off again when the lid is shut — just like your refrigerator light at home! The Cooler Light features five bright white LEDs for reliable illumination. The light is waterproof up to a depth of 1 meter, so you can even place it at the bottom of your cooler, below the ice, for “party lighting.” Two mounting options offer you the versatility of temporary mounting with an adhesive strip, or permanent mounting with plastic screws. The Cooler Light easily snaps on and off the mounting strip, so it’s easy to clean and store.

It’s OK… Overall, it is OK. It works as advertised and seems to be durable and good quality. The only complaint I have is that it only remains lit for 5 seconds once it detects motion. After that you need to move around the sensor to give you another 5 seconds of light. It is quite annoying when you have not finished picking your drinks or ice and the light goes off. I wish it had an adjustable time setting. 10-15 seconds would make it perfect or at least if it doesn’t turn off while motion is…

great light – needs better mounting option I love the concept of this product. The first weekend we had it, had to laugh while other campers were digging in the dark for their drinks and picking the wrong ones. However we don’t have a coleman cooler and couldn’t keep it to stay stuck on the lid after awhile. Love the item just need to figure a better mounting system. Want to get them as Christmas presents for my brothers and uncle.
